UHMW are slippery materials which resist abrasion and compression. Few products can adhere to them and their thermal expansion is superior to other thermoplastics. Relatively malleable, they are excellent electric insulators and they can be welded by a thermoplastic welding process. Models are available in colours and formats such as natural (white), antistatic, UV resistant autolubricating, recycled and high-temperature. In standard form, their heat resistance is 82 °C (180 °F).

HMW LTD is a black material that prevents sticking but has limited resistance to abrasion. It is available in a seamless rolled sheet for quick and economical installation.
HMW LTD can be installed without drilling into the existing equipment or truck box. It has a life expectancy of approxmately 2 years.
