High performance plastics

Mainly used in high technology areas, high performance plastics are made to resist extreme environments. Easy to transform, most of them have excellent antibacterial and/or thermal properties. They are used for mechanical and precision parts as well as for electric, electronic and medical components. In addition to materials in-use, they can be reinforced with different additives in order to have higher degrees of resistance to chemicals, wear, radiations and overloads.

PI (Polyimide)

PI is used for parts that are subject to extreme conditions, such as components for the aerospace, chemical as well as in nuclear industries.

Non-contaminating, PI can resist temperatures up to 600°F. It exhibits extreme hardness, long-term dimensional stability and high wear and chemical resistance.

PI Sintimid™ V is a strong, stiff  material. It resist very high temperature (heat resistance and thermal stability) and has good creep resistance.
PI Sintimid™ VHPdiffers from the other polyimides due to mechanical properties and high temperature and wear resistance.
PI Sintimid™ X is an extruded polyimide having an excellent solidity and inflexibility level as well as a superior resistance to high temperature and radiation.
