Ultem® PEI is a material used in the electronics, aviation and chemical industries. It is often used for high performance parts and precision machining.
Approved by FDA, Ultem® PEI is hard and is available translucent or an opaque amber colour. It is resistant to high temperatures, chemicals and hostile environments. It is easily machined and has a high resistance to friction and tesion (tensile strength). It is also a multiple frequency insulator.
Ultem® PEI has excellent mechanical properties and is available in a 30% fiberglass format for greater durability.
