Acrylic is a transparent and resistant thermoplastic also known under the trademark of Plexiglas. This plastic is used for sign panels, lighted banners, signalling and advertising panels, display stands, engraving, furnishings, store layouts, decoration, industrial parts and safety accessories.

Mirrored Acrylic

Mirrored acrylic that can be used for decorative purposes, commemorative plates, trophies, display stands and kiosks as well as in furniture manufacturing, hospital mirrors and in correctional institutions centres (prisons).

Unidirectional mirrors are used in police stations, detention centers, television stations and other various institutions, to- see- without- being- seen mirror. Allows suspects' identification and observation while preserving the anonymity of the observers, witnesses or informers.

Mirrored acrylic is a bright and spectacular material for ornamental and decorative purposes, special effects, wall sign panels and displays. It is light, has an increased resistance to breaking — up to 10 times more resistant to the impact than glass mirrors of the same thickness — and is widely used in manufacturing.

Can be bent for special effects. Contains the same properties as extruded acrylic resin. Can be laminated with water base contact cement (make a test before), or use double-sided adhesive tape. Acrylic resin mirror available in stock in clear and bronze. It can be grooved, sawed, drilled or laser cut. Slight distortion if the product is improperly installed. The product tends to absorb humidity. A high rate of humidity can temporarily deform the material. The protective film should not be removed before the final stage of manufacturing.

Mirrored acrylic is covered with a protective film on one side and with a painted silver nitrate coat on the opposite surface. Other colours are available upon request (minimum purchase required). The transparent mirror (a.k.a. unidirectional mirror or see through) is transparent on one side, to allows a better visibility, and remains opaque on the other side, according to the luminosity (light) and the desired effect.
