It has an excellent resistance to environmental conditions found in the signboard industry. The application is guaranteed by the supplier in a temperature variation between +220 °F and -300 °F. The paint is long lasting and does not crumble with humidity like wood. It is practically indestructible. Under the protective paint or enamel coating, it does not age, flake, discolor or leak since it does not absorb water . Resistant to flame, water, humidity and warping.

Can be perfectly shaped, with the simplest manual tools as well as the most sophisticated CFAO/CAME routers. Can be cut with a blade, a saw, a hot thread, a sand jet and by die-stamping. The glue which is recommended to bond Corafoam sheets together (for more thickness) is the dual mix epoxy (a two chambred bottle for two separated liquids; both liquids are released simultaneously when the bottle is pressed).

Several densities available according to applications. The material with a density of 10 is less compact allowing a gross finish (less defined and accurate work). Material with a density of 15 is the most used material in the sign panel manufacturing area. This density is a good compromise as for strength, weight, surface quality as well as cost. Because of this feature, it assures the necessary structural stability and dimension needed for indoor and outdoor installation. The material with a density of 20 is more compact (dense) allowing for detailed and accurate work. 24 X 48 and 48 X 48 sizes (formats) are available in all standard format densities and thicknesses upon request.
