Nylons are thermoplastics from the polyamide family. They are extremely resistant to shock, traction, chemical attacks and to wear. Nylon's resistance makes it an ideal material for mechanical parts.
RX and GX Nycast® nylons are used as bearing, gears, sprockets and packaging materials. They are often used in the mining, construction, food processing and pulp & paper industries.
RX and GX Nycast® nylons have a low coefficient of friction, self-lubricating properties and a high load capacity. They also have a high degree of wear resistance as well as a low level of water absorption.
RX and GX Nycast® nylons have solid Type 6 lubricants; RX Nycast® nylon is red and GX Nycast® nylon is grey. Both are superior product for engineers.
RX and GX Nycast® nylons are sold in standard, non standard and customized dimensions, as well as rod and tube.
