Nylons are thermoplastics from the polyamide family. They are extremely resistant to shock, traction, chemical attacks and to wear. Nylon's resistance makes it an ideal material for mechanical parts.
Nycast® XHA nylon is used primarly for wear resistant plates, pulleys, gears and others parts that are exposed to the sun.
Nycast® XHA nylon is resistant to service temperatures up to 250 °F. It is a cast nylon that is resistant to UVA rays and has excellent dimensional stability.
Nycast® XHA nylon exhibit the general (Type 6) nylon qualities but possesses a higher temperature resistance and UVA stabilization.
Nycast® XHA nylon is sold in standard and customized dimensions. It is also available in rod and tube.
