Tuffkast® nylon products are used as bushings, wear resistant plates, chain guides and cables. It is also effective for gears, rollers, washers, seals, shock absorbers as well as pins, riveting stems and packaging materials. It is used in a variety of industries including; marine, mining , forestery, agriculture, pulp & paper, food & beverage and transportation.

Easy to manufacture, Tuffkast® nylon is a thermoplastic that has unique physical properties offering above average hardness, stiffness and durability. Having a low coefficient of friction, it is resistant to chemicals and acids, has a low water absorption rate and has an excellent resistance to wear, abrasion and impacts. Note: that Tuffkast® nylon is 2.35 times more resistant to impacts than natural nylon and its water absorption is 1.96 times less.
