Seaboard™ is a high density polyethylene with excellent thermal resistance and is approved by the FDA. It can withstand extreme weather conditions and besides being waterproof, it reduces the corrosive effects of saltwater. Seaboard™ is stiffer than teak and other woods, offers extreme hardness and is resistant to scratches. This material does not rot and discolor; it is UV stabilized for full sun exposure and is easy to work with and clean resulting in a very low maintenance material.
