Polycarbonate

Polycarbonate is a high performance product for sign panel manufacturing, both for indoor and outdoor use. It provides superior protection against yellowing. With a thermal expansion coefficient of 3,75, it retains its stability to variations in temperature. The light transmission rate for a clear sheet of 1/8 in thickness is 86 %. Polycarbonate can be painted and silk-screen printed with multi-purpose (MP) type inks or Vinyl-Plus (VP).

It is often used for industrial (glazings, shelters, staircase bays, insulating and bright panels for suspended ceilings), public areas (glazings, partitions, guardrails (handrails), covers, cabins and awning covering for entrances), sports centres (insulating glazings, suspended ceiling panels, guardrails (handrails), partitions and transparent coverings as well as in the agricultural field (roofing and greenhouse covering, etc).

The alveolar plate, 100 % polycarbonate, extruded and formed as a multi-wall structure, provides excellent stiffness as well as being lightweight

High resistance to UV rays, insulating and transparent, rigid and light, shock resistant. Flame resistant (complying with the ASTM Standards). Do not generate toxic fumes or vapors. Offered in opale, clear and bronze.
