Polyolefins are materials extremely resistant to ageing and compression. They are flexible and are perfectly suitable for tubes or textile coverings in textile manufacturing.
Polypropylene is used in the manufacturing of tanks as well as ducts, pipes and plumbing accessories. This material is often used in laboratories as well as in the food and medical fields.
Available in translucent white and other colours, polypropylene is stiffer than polyethylenes. It is thermoformable, non-contaminating (FDA) and is known for its welding capabilities as well as for its excellent chemical resistance.
Polypropylene resins are also used to manufacture a wide variety of injection molded products. Polypropylene grades are homopolymer or copolymer (the latter has a superior inflection and a greater impact resistance).
Polypropylene is sold in standard and customized dimensions.
