Also known under the name of composites, laminated plastics are thermoset products manufactured from resins soaked with reinforcement materials. Light, dense, insulating and strong, they have excellent mechanical properties, do not soften, are extremely long-lasting and humidity resistant. The laminated thermosets are made by multiple coating process made up of two elements.
GPO-3 was developed for applications requiring high voltage insulation. It is used for electronic assemblies, main duct electrical supports and for protective screens.
GPO-3 is a very stiff laminated reinforced fiberglass polyester which is compliant to UL standards. It has an excellent dielectric resistance, fireproof and can be easily machined. It is also known for its high resistance to inflection and impact.
GPO-3 is red and has an excellent value. GPO-1 and GPO-2 products are also available.
