The increasing crime rate, easy access to powerful weapons, use of wide bay windows in modern detention facilities created the need for a specific glazing material with inhanced safety features. This material has been manufactured for this specific need.

Composed of several layers of polycarbonate or polycarbonate and acrylic with an inner-adhesive layer, this material offers, in spite of its lightness, a resistance to physical and ballistic assaults. All the laminated panels are offered with hardened surfaces providing exceptional resistance to abrasion and degradation by ultraviolet rays.

The Hygard® BR [Bullet Resistant] and the CG [Containment Grade] are two extremely resistant materials but having very different properties. Ask our consultants for more details.
