UHMW are slippery materials which resist abrasion and compression. Few products can adhere to them and their thermal expansion is superior to other thermoplastics. Relatively malleable, they are excellent electric insulators and they can be welded by a thermoplastic welding process. Models are available in colours and formats such as natural (white), antistatic, UV resistant autolubricating, recycled and high-temperature. In standard form, their heat resistance is 82 °C (180 °F).
Recycled UHMW DuraPro® is a lining material that is resistant to moderate impact and abrasive materials. It is frequently used in truck beds to reduce sticking and material hang up. It is extremely useful in sand, wet soil, gravel and waste transportation.
Recycled UHMW DuraPro® is a black material that can be quickly installed from a rolls. It also resists to temperatures up to 180°F.
Compatible with any truck bed configuration; recycled UHMW DuraPro® is lighter than aluminium (1/3 of the weight) or steel (1/8 of weight). It saves time and reduces costs by increasing the life of the truck box and allowing the materials that are being hauled to quickly and fully release. Its life expectancy is approximately 8 years.
