PSU (POLYSULFONE)

APPLICATIONS

PSU (polysulfone) TECASON™ is used for surgical instruments, medical trays and parts in the aerospace industry. It is also used in applications of microwavable containers and electronic appliances that included TVs or radios.

FEATURES

  • Compliant with FDA regulations, PSU is a rigid and thermoformable material that maintain its properties at temperature up to 177 °C (350 °F).
  • Good electrical insulator with high resistance to chemicals and repetitive steam sterilization.
  • Thanks to its high dimensional stability, PSU is suitable for applications over a wide range of temperature,
  • PSU is a transparent material with a very good resistance to hydrolysis. It is widely used for institutional serving dishes trays.
