INNOVATION AND DEVELOPMENT FOR OVER 40 YEARS

It is in 1973 that Mr. Jean Bouchard founded in Quebec City, Alto Plastique Inc., a company fabricating objects in plastic made from acrylic sheets and according to the customer's specifications. At this time, acrylic material was almost unknown in Quebec City, which suggested an important new market. For a few years, the premises occupied an area of 1,500 square feet and had two employees.
In 1988, a sister company was founded: Plastique Polyfab which was specialized in industrial plastic products. The company occupied a building of 24,000 square feet at that time.
In 1997, another company was created: Bosaco, specialized in the manufacturing of banners and products made with fabric or vinyl.
Year 1998 celebrated the 25th anniversary of the company. Plastique Alto, Plastique Polyfab and Bosaco had 50 employees and operated in installations of 43,000 square foot, stand out among the most important wholesalers in Quebec for the distribution of plastic sheets, rods and tubes as well as fabrication with plastic materials.
In 2002, Mr. Lewis and Mr. Savard redeem shares of Mr. Bouchard and perform the pooling of resources of Plastique Polyfab and Plastique Alto. The opening of Montreal branch increased the surface area facilities of 20,000 square foot.
2008 became a turning point in the history of the company. The official merger of the two sisters company, Plastique Alto (Bosaco) and Plastique Polyfab, is undertaken and  Polyalto is created. In order to increase productivity and even better meet the needs of the customer, a new head office was built in Quebec City.
